Two pieces from an upcoming series of paintings where earth is envisioned through multiple lenses. By translating photos (images) of earth (images) into paintings (images), subjective interpretations and imaginations are added as layers and shapes new “real” images of the world.
Reality is not singular nor static, it is constructed through our subjective bodies using our senses, experience, intellect, culture, history, biases, mood etc. - meaning reality is ephemeral and always becoming.
Always transformative.
